Shuffle cozy
For the first time in who knows how long, I didn't eat anything after dinner. Nor did I check my email and surf the web. I was too busy making a bag thing for my iPod shuffle. That's supposed to be a donut on the front, designed to go over the circular control part (it's slightly too far down though) and on the flip side, there's a heart.
Took me about 3.5 hours to make - the back part was supposed to be a cut-out, so I could slide the on/off thing, but then it looked flimsy so I sewed on a piece of light pink fabric, plus the dark pink heart.
One of my biggest problems is that I don't plan ahead. So I traced the shuffle, and then cut out some fabric its size, etc. But I should have sat down and mapped everything out first... except that I get lazy and never do that. It was also only supposed to be a 2 piece thing (one front, one back) but then I cut the rectangles a little too narrow so I added the light pink sides.
So now my iPod shuffle looks bigger than a shuffle, but a little smaller than a nano. Oh well :)
