I just *had* to get Yukon Cornelius (at Target, regular price $9.99, clearanced 75% off). When you press his hand, he starts singing and "panning" for silver and gold. "The name is Yukon Cornelius! Doo doo doo doo... silver and gold, silver and gold, everyone wants some silver and gold."
I passed on getting YC twice already so I finally decided to just get it. There was also this other Rudolph animation thing - there was Rudolph, Hermey and Yukon. It was this whole animated scene thing but it was $29.99...
This has got to be my favorite candy bar - Reese's Nutrageous. Chocolately candy with peanuts, caramel and peanut butter. A lot of stores don't carry it, though. I think this is the first Nutrageous bar I've eaten in probably a few years.
These aren't really donuts, but they are Taiwanese (or Chinese, I guess) fried dough (yu tiao). People usually eat them for breakfast. They aren't sweet, though.
Do you think Starbucks is still popular in an Asian-American neighborhood like Monterey Park? Or is everyone at those boba places?

12:50pm Keebler's cheese & peanut butter crackers (3)
4:30pm 3 more cheese & pb crackers
5:30pm Weinerschnitzel chili dog, chili cheese fries, ribs (cooked in oven), apple juice
8:00pm Belgian chocolate/cookies, pretzels, orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate, cake, other stuff...
I made the hat, out of felt. It was supposed to be a bucket hat, but then I didn't know exactly had to make it. Plus, I left the extra part around, so now it looks either like a Daniel Boone cap or a baseball cap (kind of).

1:15pm Gala apple (1/4)
6:00pm El Pollo Loco (2 drumsticks, salsa, churro), sweet bread, mashed potatoes, cucumbers, peppermint bark
9:00pm Apple juice, Belgian cookies/chocolate
I didn't eat 1/4 of an apple on purpose - I just didn't have time before rehearsal (well, okay, I had 1 hour for lunch, but I didn't get around to eating until 1:15 and I didn't want to be too full for rehearsal). And then after rehearsal ended at 5pm, I forgot to get my apple from the fridge. Poopers.
After it rained, there was a little flooding in the neighborhood (no sidewalks = no gutters = storm buildup). I had to cross the street at the shallow part.
